We wouldn't have imagined that a catastrophic hard drive failure could shut down a website we had been working on for 4 years, but that's what happened back in 2017. It took a while to decide whether we wanted to continue with all of this, or just keep all projects completely private for the foreseeable future. Using Weebly for our blog posts was easy- but it wasn't reliable and we were very limited with what could be done, a lot of features were locked behind paywalls layered upon paywalls. Having multi-tiered subscriptions to access basic features is one way to tell your customers how much you hate them.

Our domain has always been with Namecheap so it made sense to migrate absolutely everything over to them. We have more freedom here, so let's stay for a while longer.
